Why choose Kitkat version for your smartphone?
You hungry for more improvements on your android phone? or your now okay with what android version you have factory installed on your phone? If you want some more, why not have a break, HAVE A KITKAT!!
On November 22, 2013. After lots and lots of delicious "FOOD" had past on our hands, meaning phones, android phones. Here's another one to add to the "MENU". Kitkat! Freshly manufactured smartphones are currently offering phones with KitKat OS pre-installed, and the other freshly baked phone's still offers Jelly Bean.
Though Jelly Bean is still supported unlike other Android OS version like Froyo, where some apps aren't compatible anymore which for sure would be heck of a loss for you and your phone, Android released KitKat which I thought would be KeyLime Pie then again it's just rumours and rumours I'd say, my trusty insight and ears heard that KitKat has made partnership with Google and to kinda honor that partnership they named it after them, and Boom! It became KitKat! (Making it sound like a commercial I know you are familiar with).
Hey?Wait? Am I making this too long?
Okay!! So let me make it short.
So why would you choose KitKat instead of a JellyBean pre-installed phone? Or either why choose to upgrade your phone's firmware from other Android Version to KitKat!
If you don't really know why and would want to, here! Let me help you by giving you some short reviews which I also got from the internet, from my trusty friend Google!
Android 4.4 or most commonly called KitKat offers beautiful and more features. It runs smoother unlike other versions of Android OS. More responsive and is good for devices which has smaller RAM. In short, your old devices where for me, the oldest device I own is a GTP1000 pre-installer with Froyo. Now I upgraded it into KitKat, with the use of Custom ROMs from Cyanogenmod! Thanks CM!! Anyway, back to why choose Kitkat. Aside from it runs smoothly and has more beautiful features, Kitkat has a new camera , the Google Camera, which is far more better than the last versions of camera pre installed., apps and running services are launched serially for low memory consumption and for cached memory to be easily lessen. Pick any file we want, send any file we want to cloud, print any file we want without the use of third party apps.. Easy storage handling. Renders and access the web quickly with the use of Chrome View.
For security, like if ever you lost your device you can find it with the help of the Android Device Manager or wipe clean it with it also. You can also install two or more launchers if you're one of those who likes to customized their themes, icons, etc. You can do that easily with KitKat and switch it easily too to what Launcher you want to use! And you can also add some shortcuts and other features in your lockscreen. Cool eh?
Want something cooler?
Because not all people are techie and not everyone has the talent to , you know, the DIY thing. The developer's had hide the developers option for the users safety. So only those who know how to find it and enabled it will be able to use it! (kinda redundant at that part). To avoid hardware and software malfunctions , for example missing apps or on bricked phone. Hard-bricked. BAD. Soft-bricked, though you can unbrick it. Still it's not nice.
To end this. KitKat really has a lot of good features, when I say good, I mean really good , brilliant! So if you want to know what are those and if you want some proof for the things I told earlier in this article, You can go see it for yourself. Buy a new phone with KitKat pre-installed or upgrade your phone ! Just be careful on upgrading. Okay? I don't owe you anything if something gets wrong to your phone. I'm just an informer here. :) Thanks! Hope I help you.
